BALLET Seven
years training starting at the age of five in New York and Arizona.

Five years training in Arizona (member of Orchesis the Modern
Dance Honor
Society
at Camelback High School). Trained with Fritz Ludin and Betty
Jones at the
University of Hawaii with performances at Kennedy Theatre in
Hawaii as well as in
Arizona.
BELLY
DANCE
1981 to present
Performances: in Cairo
and Alexandria, Egypt in 1983, 1985, and 1996. Also
performed in Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, England, Switzerland, and
throughout the United States, as well as on cruise ships:
"MV Pacific Princess" the Love Boat of TV fame, "TS
Maxim Gorkiy", "TS Marshall Kershevoi", and
"MS Delphin" while traveling throughout the world.
Belly danced on Hawaiian Moving Co. TV show 1983 and 1986,
featured on Pamela Young's Mixed Plate 1985 on KHON-TV
and again in 1986. Featured on Joe Moore's TV News Show.
Directed eighteen Middle Eastern Belly Dance shows at the St.
James Court Heritage Fair in the Waikiki Shell, as well
as warm-up for the Bill Cosby Show at the Hawaiian Wine
Festival also in the Waikiki Shell. Performed in the half-time
show for the Pro Bowl in Aloha Stadium.
NightClub Work: Marrakech
Restaurant, Greek Island Taverna, Mad Greek, Hajibaba's
Restaurant, Pyramid Restaurant, Café Athena, Casablanca and Director
of Belly Dance at Istanbul Restaurant.
Convention Work:
for 8 years was the featured Belly Dancer for Raiders of the
Lost Ark Show, Casablanca Show and other International
Shows in most major hotels on Kauai, Oahu, Maui and Big
Island which were produced by Tihati Productions.
Training: studied
with Master Teachers Ibrahim Farrah, Yousry Sharif, Serena
Wilson, Shareen el Safy, Amaya, Horacio Cifuentes, Conchi and Dalia
Carella.
Specialties: Sword
dance, Cane dance, Shamidan (Egyptian candelabrum) dance, Master
Drum Solo Performer, Gypsy-style including Scarf dance
and Skirt dance, Turkish style, Egyptian style, Greek and Armenian
style, Moroccan ethnic, and some Persian style. Also
began studying Balinese Temple Dance in 2003.

6:30-8pm, Navy Fitness Instructor, Belly Dance, at Pearl Harbor

FLAMENCO
DANCE Studied
with Jose de Udaeta of Barcelona, Spain and Teo Morca of
Bellingham, Washington. Also studied locally with Paula Durbin and
Vanessa Chong. Have performed Flamenco Fusion both on
stage in Hawaii and in Spain.
TELLING Over
fifteen year's experience in psychic readings: trained in the most
congruent and modern technique of aura reading. Have performed on
an hourly basis at parties doing a variety of fortune telling
through a Spiritual Channel. Methods of readings include: Palmistry,
crystal ball, trance, aura readings, and transpersonal
counseling. Will not perform for gambling purposes due to
ethical beliefs.
Character Acting:
portrayed Charlie Chaplin at the Turtle Bay Hilton 1986,
Marilyn Monroe at the Polynesian Cultural Center, on
center stage, 1988. Also portrayed a number of different
characters while working at singing telegrams for Ballooney
Tunes, Eastern Onion, JJ Productions, and ShowBiz
Productions as well as some other companies.
LANGUAGES
Fluent in French and Spanish; also speak Italian,
German, Hawaiian pidgin, Greek,
and some Arabic, Russian,
and Japanese. Lived in Switzerland, Greece and Italy for
two years. Very good Gypsy accent, ancestry is Slavic.
OTHER Member/performer
Middle Eastern Dance Artists of Hawaii (MEDAH) and Waikiki
Acrobatic Troupe, accomplished horse rider. BS in
Tropical Agriculture from University of Hawaii,, class
representative and member Gamma Sigma Delta the Honor Society
for Agriculture, Senior Award recipient and Hawaii Merit
Scholarship, also Universal Scholarship. President/owner of Isis
Productions Hawaii established 1982: production of Belly Dance
Shows and Seminars, Workshops, Lecture-Demonstrations and
Educational Slide Shows in the USA as well as in foreign
countries, "Hawaii's Ambassador of Belly Dance"© per
Habibi International Dance Magazine 1994. Journalist
published in: Jareeda dance magazine, Habibi dance
magazine, Zagoreet Hawaii publication of MEDAH, newslettre
of Honolulu International Airport. Photographer having
gallery showings. Produced & Directed belly dance DVD at the Greek
Festival Hawaii 2004 with 30% of proceeds to Sts Constantine &
Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Pacific.
